Phew! I'm glad I don't have to hide that anymore. Not that I did, ever. I'm pretty much addicted to TV shows, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Hello, my name is Brianna and I'm addicted to television. I enjoy divulging in other (fictitious) people's lives and watching their drama unfold while attempting to avoid drama in my own life at all costs. It works for the most part. It's like reading but allowing your brain a break, which is a must every now and then - or every night once fall TV shows are airing! (it's not a dangerous or crazy addiction...just sayin)
And now, a glimpse into what is the most amazing time of year for TV addicts...
CSI - CBS 10/9c beginning September 28th.
Revenge - ABC 10/9c beginning September 28th.
Castle - ABC 10/9c beginning September 29th.
NCIS: Los Angeles - CBS 10/9c beginning September 29th.
19 Kids and Counting - TLC 8/7c began last night
NCIS - CBS 8/7c beginning September 23rd.
New Girl - FOX 9/8c beginning September 16th.
Chicago Fire - NBC 10/9c beginning September 23rd.
Arrow - CW 8/7c beginning October 8th.
Criminal Minds - CBS 9/8c beginning October 1st.
Nashville - ABC 10/9c beginning September 24th.
Bones - FOX 8/7c beginning September 25th.
Grey's Anatomy - ABC 8/7c beginning September 25th.
The Big Bang Theory - CBS 8/7c beginning October 30th. (although, there's a one-hour BBT on 9/22 @ 8/7c)
Scandal - ABC 9/8c beginning September 25th.
Parenthood - NBC 10/9c beginning September 25th.
Two and a Half Men - CBS 10/9c beginning October 30th.
The Amazing Race - CBS 8/7c beginning September 26th.
Hawaii Five-O - CBS 9/8c beginning September 26th.
Shark Tank - ABC 10/9c beginning October 3rd.
And a few that I'm super excited for, as they're series premieres:
Madam Secretary - CBS Sundays 8/7c beginning September 21st. A hot new show about the nation's capital...I'm game, at least for an episode or two.
The Flash - CW Tuesdays 8/7c beginning October 7th. It's a spin-off from the CW's Arrow and looks interesting!
Marry Me - NBC Tuesdays 9/8c beginning October 14th. Check out the trailer! It's hilarious! Funny, funny stuff.
NCIS: New Orleans - CBS Tuesdays 9/8c beginning September 23rd. I mean, NCIS goes southern?! Yes, please!
How to Get Away With Murder - ABC Thursdays 10/9c beginning September 25th. It's Shonda Rhimes. 'Nuff said!
Forever - ABC Tuesdays 10/9c beginning September 23rd. A vampire-y medical examiner? Umm, sure! I'll give it a go.
**Hart of Dixie, The Mentalist, CSI: Cyber (series premiere) and Mike & Molly are midseason shows that currently don't have an official start date, but they're on my radar, guaranteed!**
There are tons more (popular) shows out there this time of year (Survivor, The Walking Dead, The Voice, Mom, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, Dancing With the Stars, Law & Order: SVU, Sons of Anarchy...), but I've only given super detailed information on the shows I'm interested in. And yes, I'll be DVR'ing every single one of the shows in bold. I told you, I'm addicted. It's what I do! Some people are excited about fall football, and I'm excited about fall TV. Take it or leave it! Although, I must also admit that even though all of these will be recorded at first, it's very likely that several of them will be stopped if I'm just not feeling them. Like, I'm not fully caught up on Revenge, The Mentalist, and Hawaii Five-O, so those may go. And I'm planning a Scandal marathon (or two) very soon to begin and catch up on that show. It's had rave reviews and I just can't NOT watch it anymore. :) And some of the newbie shows most likely won't stick around for me, so there's that.
*Sidenote: (because people ask...) no, I will not
Oh, the life of a TV addict!
What TV shows are you looking forward to this fall? Any that aren't on my list and should be??
