Happy April Fool's Day!
Another month has come and gone, and with that, I'm focusing on some fresh, new goals for the new month! But first, let's recap March, shall we?
Check! I really did focus on myself in March and spent a little more time doing things I enjoy doing. I relaxed more, stressed less, and it was glorious.
Eh. I'm STILL struggling with my prayer life, but I've been more aware of it in March and look forward to truly progressing in April!
3. Read 2 books.
Check! I read exactly two in March and recapped them both on Wednesday! Head here to check them out. Also, I'm just going to note here that I'm extra sad that Amber and Rachel are no longer continuing with the #collaboreads. *sigh*
4. Track my habits.
Check. Ish. I started out strong for this one but by about the 20th of March, I ran out of steam. I finished out the month but definitely didn't track as well as I would've liked for the end of March.
Okay, so now that we have that out of the way, let's jump into some April to-do's!
1. Read 2 books.
Are we really surprised by this one? Nope. Not at all. It's been a goal every.single.month so far in 2016 and will continue to be so until it becomes less of a "goal" and more of a "habit".
2. Go through my storage unit.
Moving out of my apartment over a year ago, it's time to finally go through my storage unit and decide on things to sell, keep, and throw away. I'm also excited to grab some things I've really been missing - like my Pampered Chef knife set!
3. Write down prayers.
In trying to really dig deeper and be seriously intentional in praying, I've decided to focus more on putting pen to paper and write my prayers down this month. It will also help to see my growth (or lack thereof) as time goes on. Reflection is good. And necessary.
4. Editorial calendar.
I "attempted" this in March but pretty much failed. I'm determined to have an editorial calendar for my blog this month and am hoping it will help me be more consistent in posting/writing!
So, there you have it! 4 things on my to-do list in hopes of accomplishing this month. And honestly? I'm truly excited about each and every one of them! I haven't been able to say that before, so I'm hoping that's a good sign?
What are some goals you want to achieve in April?
